Bloody Mary Mix Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

Borsari Food Co, based in Jamestown, NY, is recalling all its Bloody Mary Mix due to undeclared allergens. Individuals with allergies or severe sensitivities to fish (anchovy) or soy face a risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume this product, as these allergens are not listed on the label.

The recalled product was distributed within  Jamestown, NY, and sold through the company’s website. Retail stores carrying the product and customers who purchased it online are being directly notified. The product is packaged in clear 32 oz. plastic bottles with a black label featuring the brand name “Borsari” and “Bloody Mary Mix” in bold lettering. The UPC code is 815893000101.

No illnesses have been reported. The issue was identified during a New York State Department of Agriculture inspection. Borsari Food Co has updated its labeling process to ensure future products clearly list fish (anchovy) and soy as ingredients.

Consumers are advised not to consume, sell, or distribute the recalled Bloody Mary Mix. Dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
